Extending your stay

You may extend your stay after your Eyes Wide Open trip. Please discuss your needs with us and we will be happy to assist where we can!

Comfort level: transport and accommodation

We mainly travel in a private, air-conditioned van. Some trips incorporate train travel, coach travel or safe moto transport; a common way to get around in Asian cities. We generally stay in three to four star accommodation which means you can expect good service, western bathroom facilities, a comfortable bed and clean facilities. We arrange twin share and most hotels have internet access, laundry services and room service. When we are in remote locations, you can expect a more basic offering, but we will always provide you with clean accommodation. Our trips generally include a homestay where you can expect a moderate level of comfort. If you wish to have your level of accommodation upgraded, this can be done at your cost.

Food

On all Eyes Wide Open trips you can expect a mix of local and western food which is healthy and delicious. Our local guides know exactly which restaurants serve the best cuisine to suit a wide variety of tastebuds and dietary requirements.

Vaccinations

Please consult your General Practioner to find out which vaccinations you require for your intended destination. You can also visit www.traveldoctor.com.au for more information.
